The Korean-based Samsung Corp. founded in 1938 is globally recognised as an industry leader in technology and employing almost half a million people ranks as the 7th biggest global brand. Samsung Technologies, part of Korean-based Samsung was established in 1969, at the dawn of the era of consumer electronics. Although the word ‘samsung’ means ‘three stars’, the company offers five-star products no matter whether we’re having TVs, monitors, printers, washing machines or refrigerators in mind. Smartphones and tablets are especially in the focus of innovation, as the company is committed to make people’s life “smarter” and more convenient in as many aspects as possible.

Where are things headed with Samsung Gear VR and the Virtual Reality technology in general?

Samsung Gear VRVirtual reality is growing at such a rapid pace, and has so many possibilities! We are constantly seeing new ways of using the Gear VR. Great content and new experiences will drive the future of VR and we want to make this exciting new medium as accessible for people as possible to create and experience.

Samsung Gear S2The Gear S2 has a beautiful design and uses an intuitive rotating bezel to navigate. It’s one of the easiest watches to use and can fit any standard 20mm strap – so you can customise the watch in so many ways, and really make it yours.

How do the wireless chargers for the S6 and Gear S2 work?

Our phones have a special inductive coil built into the phone that, once placed onto the charger pad, receives power using resonant inductive coupling – a signal that sends power between the coils.

Which new releases can we expect in the months to come from Samsung?
